Fantastic…thanks for printing these.
Please , if you are interested, contact me to chat…no obligation, I can tell you about these lovely gentle dogs that make great pets. as thay are young they will train not to chase cats too, so no worries on that score.
Also, i think the pups may be ready to leave by late january …I am not sure of their age but will know next week when they arrive here.
Gorgeous arent they?

They are darlings, I’d love one. But I think my doggy would be a wee bit put out… .
It’s a great project though and I’m sure they will all find loving families.

No! Your doggy would LOVE to have a friend. Go on, you know you want one.

The problem of the galgos has to be tackled at grass roots - that is - forcing Spain to acknowledge the tremendous problem of galguerros getting rid of their dogs at the end of January when hunting finishes. They have to stop breeding these dogs; they have to be forbidden to abandon them, hang them from trees, throw them down wells, burn them alive!
That is where the best help will be for the galgos.
With tens of thousands of galgos ‘disposed of’ every year, how many dogs can be adopted?
They are wonderful loving dogs, but I find myself wondering with these numbers every year, how many more can be found permanent homes outside of Spain.
Read on Galgo News how you can support campaigns to tackle this problem in Spain.
And thank you Susie on behalf of all galgos for your support.
