There are a few changes on my links “Stuff I Like”. I have deleted a few sites have been stagnant for several months, or have changed their content radically. No offence is intended, it’s simply that I don’t believe anybody will actually work their way through several dozen links to other blogs, and I prefer to feature only those that I regularly visit myself.

Recent additions and current favourites are:

Frances at “France and the Unknown“, an animal-lover and vegetarian like myself (actually I’m more correctly a piscatarian, as I do very occasionally eat fish). Frances is now considering going vegan, which is an enormous commitment and particularly difficult in this country where the natives regard anything that flies, flaps, slithers, slides, runs, hops, skips, jumps or stands still long enough as table fare, and general regard anybody who doesn’t share their views as a moron and possibly dangerous.

Doris Brazil, an elderly lady of spirit who is not afraid to say what she thinks, and has no regard for political correctness. She probably has little regard for vegetarians, let alone vegans, and I’ve no idea what she thinks of animals, but she truly makes me laugh.

French Leave, one of the best written, most interesting, relevant and in-depth blogs that gets to the heart of  life in France.

If I knew how to make an award, they’d all have one. But I don’t.
